THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS (DJ SET)

Over the past three decades, The Chemical Brothers have grown from a hugely respected underground electronic act into one of the most renowned and in-demand live acts in the world. Their mind-bending, fully immersive audio-visual live show has headlined festivals in every corner of the globe and earned accolades all over, with NME stating “there is no greater live dance act in the world right now”.

The band’s huge catalogue of anthems – including tracks like ‘Galvanize’, ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’, ‘Got To Keep On’ and ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ has won the band multiple Grammy and Brit Awards and over 13 million album sales worldwide, including 5 UK number ones.

Following their acclaimed 2019 album, ’No Geography’, The Chemical Brothers released a new single, ’The Darkness That You Fear’ in 2021. They also produced new mixes for their ‘Radio Chemical’ station for Sonos Radio – and presented the bold, multi-sensory centerpiece of ‘Electronic – From Kraftwerk To The Chemical Brothers’ – the most successful exhibition in the history of London’s Design Museum – where the band’s music was set to live visuals by their long time collaborators Smith & Lyall.

SARA LANDRY

A sonic alchemist transforming hard techno sounds into transcendent experiences, Sara Landry is an explosive force captivating global obsession and overhauling the scene through her dark, driving and divinely feminine lens.
Harnessing a distinct brand of artistry that is unapologetically her own, the self-taught DJ, producer and record label head has cemented herself as one of the most in-demand names in music at nothing short of breakneck speed. Yet, Landry is far more than a DJ – She is the irrefutable it-girl of a movement pushing what has long been considered subversive into popular culture, fueled by her deliberate, witchy and boundary breaking-vision.
The tour de force’s visceral sound and unbridled authenticity have undeniably earned her cult-like following, amassing over 1 Million monthly listeners on Spotify and solidifying her positioning as Beatport’s no.1 best selling female producer in the genre. In 2023, the multi-hyphenate showcased her impressive talent during her debut Boiler Room set – A viral performance that has since amassed over 6 Million views and remains the 3rd highest streamed Boiler Room set of the last 2 years, after Fred Again.. and Chase & Status.
Claiming the title of the world’s biggest hard techno ticket seller, her commanding stage presence and the raw power of her sound consistently ram out some of the most prestigious stages around the globe – such as CRSSD, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Monegros, Kappa Futur, EDC Las Vegas and Timewarp Brazil – with unprecedented fervor. The US-born, Amsterdam-based sensation opened this year with a sold out ‘All Night Long Tour’ inclusive of: shows in cities across Europe, a 9,000 ticket sold out headline show in Bogota and two, consecutively sold out shows in Los Angeles, set to take place over Labor Day Weekend. This July, Landry will etch her name in history as the first artist of her genre to play the Tomorrowland Mainstage, setting new precedents and pushing the category on a global scale.
A high-octane convergence of the underground and the avant garde, the phenomenon’s auditory expression is one of unrelenting duality, deeply rooted innovation and intention. Hailed as the “High Priestess of Hard Techno”, each of Landry’s thunderous productions reveal ceremonial spaces amongst the highest of frequencies as she balances rebellious experimentation with ancient power. This masterful interplay of chaos and solace guides listeners on enthralling odysseys that are inherently ritualistic, opening a portal for loyal fans and new audiences alike to surrender themselves to her recesses.
Translating her artistic ethos into each of her sets, Landry’s performances evoke catharsis and communion in equal measure, blending roaring basslines with subliminal healing frequencies as a divine act of service. Carving out an inclusive space in these realms on her own terms, the dynamite conjures immersive, spiritual experiences that leave audiences entranced by her indomitable influence and ethereal prowess.
Equal parts a tastemaker and a provocateur, Landry is also the founder of the disruptive imprint, HEKATE. Named after the Greek Goddess of witchcraft and wild places, HEKATE is an homage to the power of the divine feminine and a testament to Landry’s penchant for the unorthodox. A channel for the most chaotic musical impulses, the label has seen releases from techno titans such as Nico Moreno, Shlømo, Charlie Sparks and blk., as well as more emerging talent in the category and Landry’s own creative endeavors. In June 2024, Landry delivered a completely new HEKATE experience to her fans via a rare headlining performance at The Caverns in Tennessee. The two-night takeover came to life as a “curated coven night” and solidified Landry as the first-ever techno artist to perform at and subsequently sell out the subterranean venue.
Beyond her musical aptitude, Landry is known for her unwavering commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity within the electronic music community. She actively advocates for gender equality and representation, using her platform to elevate marginalized voices and create inclusive spaces.
A fierce arbiter of sound in a category of her own, Landry is on a meteoric trajectory blazing forward with unstoppable momentum. With a steady pulse of new music releases, a debut album on the horizon and surprises that promise captivate her fans and attract millions more, 2024 is poised to be one of Landry’s most massive years yet as she continues to elevate the genre in a way that resonates on a universally connective level for a new generation.

DONGROSSO

DOGROSSO, the solo project of legendary DJ/producer Shinichi Osawa, who exists on the cutting edge of new music. These unique musicians have joined forces to make the world dance with their anarchic electronic music.

RISA TANIGUCHI

Risa Taniguchi is arriving at the forefront of the dark techno wave that has washed over the underground in recent years. The Tokyo born – and based – artist has spent recent years cultivating her own signature sound of distorted textures, fizzing synths and a quietly burning energy, which consumes all who hear it. Delivering shocks and surprises with a curious motif or unpredictable element on her set, for those who like to cut loose in a dark environment, she is the perfect selector.
In the studio as well as the club, Risa focuses on the drums, programming kicks that bring visceral and often aggressive thrills next to a uniquely addictive layer of well designed snares and hi hats. Her signature has become her own subtle and intriguing vocal samples, best heard on Slipped My Mind and This Guy. She adds layers of acid bass and an always raw, edgy aesthetic. Having experienced them first hand whilst living in London, in 2010, Risa also has an
enduring love of underground UK bass sounds, which can be heard in many of her tracks. The multi-talented act is also formally trained and a skilled player of the piano, who continues to play daily.
Since her first release back in 2018, Risa has attracted high profile interest from A-list players Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Chris Liebing, Pan Pot, Dense & Pika, and Radio Slave; has hit the Top 5 of the Beatport’s Leftfield Techno Chart and played everywhere from De Marktkantine in Amsterdam to Watergate in Berlin, while setting herself regularly at her resident Womb Tokyo, and of course all the most revered spaces all across Japan including Vent, and Joule Osaka.
Despite the pandemic, the recent years have proven to be a high watermark for Risa as she has delivered a continuous flow of new music, primarily on Pan Pot’s Second State, Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains, and Chris Liebing’s CLR.
One of her most notable achievements is her “So Loud EP,” which skyrocketed to the top of Beatport’s Techno (Raw/Deep/Hypnotic) Top Releases chart. This milestone not only underscores Risa’s talent and dedication but also cements her position as a formidable force in the techno genre. This led Nicole Moudaber to decide on releasing “Look At Hatred EP” and a collaboration track “Gorgeous” through her iconic MOOD label. 2024 is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for RISA, who has been chosen to perform at Berlin’s Rave The Planet (formerly Love Parade) and on the RESISTANCE stage at Ultra Japan.
With the support from talents from around the globe, she has constantly been touring worldwide. Additionally, Risa has emerged as a prominent voice in the industry, hosting her own radio show on Japan’s major radio station J-WAVE, and was recently selected as a “Beatport Next” artist by Beatport, highlighting her as a future leader in electronic music.
